Lessons

We currently offer a wide range and level of tuition, providing instruction from first timers to advanced competitors. On your horse or ours. Our lessons are given in either our indoor arena, or if it's a nice day in one of our outdoor arenas. We offer hacks either round the property and canter tracks or maybe for established riders a longer pub ride.
We also cater for special occasions.

Our current 2010 prices are as follows:

1 Hour Private Lesson £30.00

30 Mins Private Lesson £20.00

1 Hour Semi-Private Lesson (max 3 riders) £20.00

30 Mins Semi-Private Lesson £15.00

1 Hour Group Lesson (max 6 riders) £17.50

Terms and Conditions

Riding Hat
Please bring your riding hat it must conform to current safety standards. Alternatively you can hire one for a £2.00.

Footwear
Short or long, preferably riding boots with smooth (non-cleated) sole andlarge flat heel (stops feet slipping
through the stirrups).

Arrival and Forms
Please do arrive at least twenty (20) minutes before your ride is due to start. This allows time for you to fill in the
“Rider Registration Form”

Payment
Please pay the riding fees before going out on the ride (cash or cheque).

Cancellation
In the event of you having to cancel a booked ride, we require 48 hours notice.
Failure to give 48 hours notice and you will be charged the full amount of the original lesson fee

Weather
We will ride in most weather conditions except the most severe.

Hacking out

If you have not hacked out with us before, your riding ability has to be assessed.
We need to be clear about your level of experience and this will determine if you are able to hack out.

Our basic requirement is that you can mount up, apply the commands for walk, trot and halt and have control
and balance at these paces.

Maximum weight limit

For Lessons is currently 14st.
We will not accept any rider who does not
disclose their 'true' weight.

Cancellation Policy

Please note we require 48hrs notice
to cancel a lesson, any cancellations
without this notice will be subject to paying
the full lesson fee

Please Be Aware

That we have an outdoor school and
on occasions you will be riding outside.
Please do not think because it is raining you will be
inside. Remember horse riding is an outdoor
activity, so remember you waterproof clothing.

Whilst every effort is made

To ensure you ride the horse or pony requested,
please note there are occasions when this may not
be possible, in which case a suitable
replacement will be made.
